LISTENING TEST

Before You Start the IELTS Listening Test

  • The IELTS Listening test consists of 4 sections with a total of 40 questions.
  • You will listen to each recording only once.
  • The audio will play automatically and cannot be paused.
  • Questions appear in the same order as the information in the recording.
  • There is time to read the questions before each section begins.
  • Write your answers carefully as spelling and grammar matter.
  • Pay attention to word limits such as 'NO MORE THAN TWO WORDS'.
  • Stay focused throughout the audio to avoid missing key details.

Once the listening test begins, the audio will play automatically and cannot be replayed. Make sure you are in a quiet environment and ready to concentrate for the full duration of the test.
